What a great gift certificate idea! I often sell gift certificates as baby shower gifts and this request came from friends on the east coast wanting to do something nice for this mom-to-be. We had lots of fun and I think maternity portraits and newborn portraits go hand in hand. I can just see this family sitting down and showing their child these beautiful memories some day. If you’re considering pregnancy photography, call and schedule it for sometime in the 32-36 week range. What an amazing way to start the “…look how much we loved you before you were EVEN BORN” conversation!
All you have to do is look at these portraits to know how much fun we had. And I just love how personal and unique they are! Can’t you see them sharing these with their little boy someday? I often have people tell me they had a lot of fun, but this time it was my turn! I loved every minute of it –thanks, Niki and Cody!
Do you know about The Bump? You’ve probably heard of their other famous guide for brides - The Knot. Anyway, The Bump is a magazine that lots of expectant mothers get from their OB/GYN when they find out they’re pregnant. It’s a guide to all sorts of local resources for new parents. Well, I thought it was such a great idea (did I mention it was FREE?) – that I decided to advertise with them. If you don’t have the new one, the 2010 edition will be out in October and you can also pick them up in some of the baby boutiques around town, or here in the studio. They also have a really cool website – so be sure and check them out here!
