WOW! The summer is swooooshing (that’s faster than flying) by. The Dallas drought and heat wave, lots of travel (including one of the greatest weddings I’ve EVER photographed) and setting up the studio in the new location…my days seem to evaporate…

I’m very excited about the upcoming fall –so many new faces and now, the studio overlooks the beautiful park! I had great "Duck feeding sessions" with Stephen and Sarah’s family, and Brad and Christine and Xandria, and Stephanie and her beautiful niece and I can’t wait until it cools off so that I can be in the park even more. Even the turtles are scrambling to get fed. There’s also a little squirrel that eats out of my hand. I didn’t see her the other day and she stood up on her hind legs and rested a paw on my jeans to get my attention. I’ll post photos of her, I promise. My neighbor calls her Miss Piggy. Too many ducks to name, but we have picked out names for the herons.

I’m staying indoors and working on the new holiday card designs and a couple of new collage formats for gift-giving season. Stay tuned!
