I just got off the phone with the Editor of Doxie Digest, the new quarterly Dachshund magazine that’s making it’s debut in October. (www.doxiedigest.com) They’re using one of my photographs in a story about puppies… here’s a sneak peek!
People always comment on the fact that I don’t choose the easiest of subjects. Someone said recently, “kids? dogs? boy, you pick the hard stuff!” and I guess that’s true. So when I need a break to re-charge, I do this. It is kind of nice to photograph something that doesn’t try to run away….

What a great group! Grant brought his pets to the studio and we really had the best time. They were terrific to work with — I’m nominating Thomas, the cat, for Mr. Congeniality. It’s obvious that they all love being together and I’m so glad we were able to catch a glimpse of that through the camera. Thanks guys!
