Baby photography has changed! Even just a few years ago, we were just laying a naked baby on a black velvet background and feeling very creative. Today's newborn photography sessions (at least here in our studio) incorporate layers of texture, organic elements like wood, woven baskets and soft fur and fabric. We love to contrast baby's beautiful soft skin with multiple layers of texture and colorful fabrics and handknit hats and blankets.
Each and every session is unique and creatively fun and challenging from the photographer's perspective. We want to create a baby portrait you hang in the living room, not just something cute for the nursery. Whether it's something personal you bring from home, or one of our handmade, handknit creations -- we combine color and texture to present your beautiful baby as the work of art she is.
