Q: How do I book an appointment?
A: Call our studio at 972-250-2415. We'll answer all your questions, select a time and date (based on what type of session you want) and get a credit card for your session fee. We'll send you an electronic form (called a Portrait Agreement) for you to sign.
Q: Does the session fee include digital images?
A: No, but you can purchase one of four different packages that each include a different number of digital images you select. These packages start at $695. Every digital file we sell comes with a 5x7 print, and is printable up to size 8x10 inches. We give extra care to larger prints and canvases and prefer to order those for you.
Q: Can I do my session outdoors?
A: Yes! We have several great parks near our Addison studio, or we can meet you at the location of your choice (for a small travel fee). We also have a great natural light shooting area in the studio.
Q: Can I bring a pet?
A: Yes! We love photographing pets. Dog portraits (and cat portraits) are some of our favorites, with or without a two-legged family member.
Q: I want to book a pet photo session outdoors but I don't want to take my dog off his leash. Can you do that?
A: Yes! We do all of our outdoor pet sessions with leashes and then remove the leashes in Photoshop during the editing process.
Q: Can you make me look thinner? Younger?
A: Yes! We are happy to do a little digital plastic surgery at no additional charge. Especially with grandparent sessions, knowing that professional touch-ups are going to be done helps our subjects relax.
Q: What's the best time to do newborn sessions? baby and toddler?
A: New baby photo sessions are best at about 8-10 days old. We want to preserve that sweet curled-up newborn look! We are happy to include big brother or sister, and of course, Mom and Dad. 7 months is a great age for baby portraits. We call it the "sitting up" stage. They are generally happy and have lots of different expressions at this age. Toddler photo sessions are great at just about any age, but we prefer 12-14 months and again at 24 months.
Q: What's the best time to do a maternity portrait?
A: We like to do maternity photo sessions at about 30 weeks. We can do them later, depending on your comfort, but 30 weeks is ideal for a pregnancy portrait session.
Q: Do I select my pictures online or can you help me choose?
A: After we shoot, we will schedule a time for you to come back to the studio where we will carefully review your images with you and help you make your selections and place your order. This one-on-one time with Teresa is your opportunity to get her expert opinion on which images work best for you and how best to display them.
Q: Can you photograph our family in our home?
A: Yes! We love relaxed natural light sessions in our client's homes
Q: Credit cards?
A: Yes -- we take all major credit cards
Q: Do you sell gift certificates?
A: Yes -- we sell gift certificates over the phone or in person for any amount you desire
